Harman Manik
19. studying AI, building things, figuring it out.
About
I'm a first-year AI student in Delhi. I've been building since I was 16 — started with random apps, now it's mostly agents and AI tools. I care about whether it actually works, not just demos well. I spend a lot of time thinking about the gap between 'AI assistant' and 'AI that does real work.' That gap is what I'm trying to close.

Built an end-to-end marketing automation system — lead capture, email sequences, the whole thing. Used AI to personalise outreach. Response rates tripled.

Hybrid
One of 45 teams out of 20,000+ worldwide. Designed a re-entry capsule structure for space exploration. Won $30k+ in scholarship opportunities. Still can't believe that happened.

Hybrid
Built an AR system that detects distracted driving in real time. Finished 2nd globally out of 180+ teams. Did the architecture, the code, and the pitch — which is where I realised I actually liked building things end-to-end.

what i'm building
- Building: Working on Clippy — an AI agent that actually does things for you, not just talks back at you. The line between 'assistant' and 'agent' is what I'm obsessed with right now.
what i'm studying
- how agents actually coordinate with each other — the hard parts nobody writes about
- RAG pipelines and why most implementations are worse than they should be
- real-time computer vision — object detection, tracking, making it fast enough to matter
